I always said I would never paint roses, they just feel too intimidating and .. well.. royal. But when these vibrant, exploding pink roses held their regal heads high in my mom's garden, I just couldn't resist their beckoning. So I painted them, it feels like they commanded me to :) These royal pink ladies and gentlemen of the garden.
